The Plan Part 2 of 6: Gear

My Phone is a Xiaomi Redmi 7. It's alright, but nothing spectacular. But the gripe I have is that phones these days just stuff AI into everything and don't give any actual breathing room for an editor to work with, on top of being really slim so they're not as good as cameras anyways.

Asked a lot of people, my cousin has a DSLR and so does another friend at school. My cousin studies in university though so he would be busy, my friend in school might allow it though.

I'll have to be sure to film in a color profile that allows color grading later as I've been learning DaVinci Resolve and I'd love to see the results using that.

Both options aren't guaranteed but they're likely.

Other than camera gear I could maybe need lighting, I have some really bright outdoor lamps I could use, and also a ring light. Depending on the results of the location scouting I might need all of them, or none of them.

Microphones won't be needed except for the possible recording of a voice line for dramatic effect. For that scenario I still have my Condenser Mic attached to my computer.

I wouldn't say a computer has to be prepared in gear but it does kind of matter, I bring this up because it had stopped working and I diagnosed it to be a dead motherboard, which I've now fixed and am using to type on this blog.
